Modern Warfare 2 Remaster And Three Other Call Of Duty Titles Reportedly In The Works
While much of 2020’s release schedule of big game titles is up in the air and susceptible to delays, gamers know to count on Activision to provide their annual entry in the Call of Duty franchise. The recent Modern Warfare game has seen continued support and a new battle royale mode, and Activision has already confirmed a new Call of Duty game for 2020. Activision is known to have concurrent COD projects in development at any given time, but a new leak suggests an even fuller slate that usual. Supposedly, four new Call of Duty games are now in development, including a Modern Warfare 2 Remaster.
Some Activision games in the works: Tony Hawk Proskater Remastered, Call of Duty 2020 (code-named PROJECT: ZEUS), MW2 Remastered, a F2P COD game from SHGames (2021 ETA), a PvP Crash game, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex Remastered

As reported on Prima Games, known Call of Duty news leaker TheGamingRevolution has released a new tweet related to the future of the Call of Duty franchise on their official Twitter account. The leaker claims that in addition to the already confirmed but not officially titled Call of Duty 2020, Activision has already commenced development on three other Call of Duty games at different studios.
Among these titles are a new COD from SHGames that will utilize a free to play model, a follow up to the new Modern Warfare game, and a Modern Warfare 2 remaster as well. Aside from a vague 2021 description for the free to play game, no release window information is suggested. While this information should be taken with some modest skepticism, these all sound fairly likely projects, given Activision’s most recent releases and trajectory strategies. Whether or not any of these are announced officially soon will be anyone’s guess, but those with a fondness for MW2 are surely in for a treat a time some point. Let’s hope COD respawns real soon.
