Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered

This generation of video game consoles saw many trends rise in popularity, and one of the most frequently utilized and requested has been remakes and remasters of classic games released on previous generations of devices. It seemed like everything from the Crash Bandicoot trilogy to the Yakuza games were getting remastered updates or ports, but fans have really been wanting to see the Mass Effect Trilogy remastered for current consoles.

As reported by Prima Games, sleuths have discovered that UK Retailer GAME’s website had a new listing for the Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered. The first leak in this particular series started with a leaked GAME release calendar, which claimed the remastered trilogy, titled N7 (Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered), would be dropping on September 29th this year. Just a few days ago on Reddit, one user claimed that they found a listing for the Mass Effect Trilogy on GAME’s official website, and that they were able to successfully pre-order the game.

The Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered listing refers to the release as “DEP PS4 N7,” which relates to the previously leaked calendar also referring to the trilogy as N7. This listing also matches up with the tentative release date of September 29th this year. Other users have since tried to pre-order the game through this listing on the GAME website, but none have had any success.

It is possible that both the “N7” title and 9/29 release date may be tentative, but it does seem strange that with such an imminent release date that BioWare would not have announced it yet.
