New Mass Effect: Andromeda Official Cinematic Trailer Reveals the Kett Archon (VIDEO)

Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster

Mass Effect just dropped the latest Andromeda official cinematic trailer today, revealing even more epic details to the upcoming game. The first four of the Pathfinder crew was revealed to the Mass Effect community last year, including Peebee, Liam, Drack, Cora, and Vetra – respectively. This time, however, everyone gets a real good look at the team for the first time, hero poses and all. Take a look at the trailer below!

From the very first bit of dialogue, presented in the trailer, it’s apparent that the Pathfinder team’s goal is to find humans a new home. Most likely, Earth has become uninhabitable or destroyed. With the Ryder family leading the way, their mission is to acquire “Habitat 7” – the next settlement for mankind. Unfortunately, the Kett are determined to set them back. Based on the video, it isn’t clear whether the Pathfinder team encountered the Kett home planet, or they were blocked off from further investigation of a potential new Earth.  Unfortunately, Archon, who is presumably the Kett leader, threatens the team to surrender or be destroyed – bringing any progress to a halt. Thus, Ryder and team must do what it takes to continue marching on.

From left to right, you can see PeeBee, Liam, male Ryder, Cora, and Drack. Liam’s design has changed a tad bit with wider cheekbones, more angular face, and a uniform afro. Cora’s face is finally revealed as well whereas, initially, the most in-depth information was in regards to her biotic abilities. Drack looks bad ass, sporting bones and leather for armor – it’s evocative of the armor customization in Dragon Age: Inquisition and the Jaws of Hakkon DLC. Of course, how can we forget about PeeBee? The new Asari is just as beautiful when fans first met her, with nothing else to reveal regarding her design.

Other characters and potential allies are revealed in the trailer as well, so be sure to observe all the details and new faces.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will debut March 21, 2017 – only a couple months away and will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

What do you all think about the second Andromeda official cinematic trailer? Are you ready? What do you think of the Archon? Feel free to let us know in the comments section below, we would love to hear from you!
