Lawbreakers Boss Returning To Epic Games For “Secret Project”
The studio behind Lawbreakers is going through some major changes. The co-founder of Boss Key Productions, Arjan Brussee, has left the company in order to return to his former workplace of Epic Games for an unknown project. Brussee had worked at the company in the 90’s before leaving to join the Killzone developer Guerrilla Games.

Brussee is leaving behind the COO position at Boss Key whose duties included general management, finance, legal, production, and strategy. The other founder of Boss Key Productions, Cliff Bleszinski, also mentioned Brussee in a tweet saying that while sad to see him go, the company would continue to make games and wished his friend and coworker the best of luck in his future endeavors. There’s been no word as to who may be filling in the co-founders role at Boss Key, or if it will be filled at all.

Brussee’s departure comes not long after the release of Boss Key’s first game Lawbreakers, which launched in July for PC and PlayStation 4. The title has an interesting concept that unfortunately failed to find a player base. Though the company has put in a lot of effort to change this around, it remains to be seen if it was a “too little, too late” situation.
Boss Key Productions was started in 2014 and has one published title so far, what could the future hold for the company? What could the “secret project” Brussee is going to work on be?
