New Genshin Impact Trailer Highlights Rosaria: Purger Of The Shadows (VIDEO)

With Genshin Impact Version 1.4’s Windblume Festival having officially concluded, players of the immensely popular gacha game now have their sights set on Version 1.5 and all the excitement that’s to come. Before that, though, is the impending arrival of Rosaria, the highly anticipated new 4* Cryo character that has until now only been seen a handful of times in the game’s story. Now, developer miHoYo has released a new Rosaria trailer detailing her move set.

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo took to YouTube today to release the new Collected Miscellany – “Rosaria: Purger of the Shadows” trailer. The video kicks off by introducing Rosaria as, well, not your typical priestess. Rosaria acts as an antithesis to the wholesome bean that is Barbara, with the deadly femme fatale preferring to do her work from the shadows. Check out the trailer below:

As explained in the above trailer, Rosaria’s normal attack can be chained for up to five strikes, while her charged attack is a forward lunge. Ravaging Confession ability places Rosaria behind her target to deal cryo damage, while her Last Rites ultimate has her swinging her weapon and summoning an Ice Lance that strikes the terrain. The lance then releases AOE cryo damage.

The upcoming Farewell to Snezhnaya banner featuring the return of Tartaglia (Childe) and Rosaria kicks off on April 6th at 18:00 server time, and runs until April 27th at 15:00 server time. Genshin Impact is currently available for PC, PS4, and Android & iOS devices, with a PS5 version arriving this spring.
