Genshin Impact Leak Suggests Rosaria Is Arriving In Update 1.4

Genshin Impact Leak Suggests Rosario Is The Only New Hero In Update 1.4

It looks like Genshin Impact developer miHoYo plans on taking a small break from releasing new max rarity characters. Following the recent release of Xiao at the start of the game’s 1.3 update, miHoYo appears to have one more max rarity character scheduled for release, which is rumored to be Hu Tao. Afterwards, the game will allegedly see just a single new 4* rarity character get released throughout the next update, 1.4.

This info comes by way of some datamining done by folks on the Hu Tao main’s Discord server. According to the leak, miHoYo will be releasing one more max rarity character – likely Hu Tao – towards the tail end of version 1.3. Once the game switches gears for version 1.4, though, the only new character being released will be the 4* character Rosaria on a banner that will include a 5* permanent character. This banner will take place after what will apparently be a rerun banner featuring Venti, the game’s first limited character.

As for Rosaria, she’ll be coming to the game as a cryo polearm user. Her normal attack is chainable up to five strikes, while her charged attack takes up stamina to perform a forward lunge. Her Ravaging Confession ability places Rosaria behind her target to deal cryo damage, while her Last Rites ultimate has her swinging her weapon and summoning an Ice Lance that strikes the terrain. The lance then releases AOE cryo damage.

Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, and Android & iOS devices.
