DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 Releases Today (VIDEO)

DOOM Eternal

A recent teaser for DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 previously released dropping a small hint as to what the epic finale for the Slayer would entail. Now a full trailer has dropped as well, giving the impression that the final fight against the hordes of Hell will be precisely the brutal slaughter-fest fans have been hoping for.

The latest trailer shows off plenty of exciting new things that the Slayer will be able to utilize to his advantage on his journey to annihilate the Dark Lord and its forces. The Slayer will seemingly be able to ride a Dragon, of all things, wield a might Warhammer called the Hellbreaker, and even go underwater for some interesting platforming challenges. Of course, it looks as though the Slayer will be up against quite a few new deadly foes be it even more powerful variants of previously seen demons to new ones such as an Armored Fireborne Baron.

On the bright side, it doesn’t appear as though the Slayer will be going out on his own, Instead, he’ll have the help of an army of Sentinels at his back ready to bring the fight to the Demons. Between the giant robots doing battle against kaiju-sized demons and the Slayer destroying all those who stand in his way, the new DLC will certainly make for an epic finale.

DOOM Eternal is currently available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch with The Ancient Gods Part 2 releasing today for all platforms save for the Switch.
