Demon’s Souls Is Getting A Captivating New Vinyl Set
The Demon’s Souls Remake ended up being a pleasant surprise for those that were on the fence about getting a PS5, providing potential console purchasers with yet another exclusivity incentive backed by a job well done by the folks over at Bluepoint Games. For the remake, composer Shunsuke Kida took the score from the original game and rearranged it using a full orchestra and choir, providing a fresh take on the soundtrack that can be enjoyed by both Demon’s Souls veterans and first time players of the game. Now, that soundtrack is getting some serious love in the form of a gorgeous new vinyl set by Milan Records.
As reported by Gameinformer, Demon’s Souls Remake is getting its first ever vinyl set, with pre-orders now open at select retailers. The double LP set features exclusive artwork from Ken Taylor, while the records themselves will be available in several different variants depending on the retailer, all of which look absolutely beautiful. The variants can be seen below:
“Demon’s Souls (Original Soundtrack) features an incredible score composed by Shunsuke Kida for the PlayStation 5 remake of the original game,” the description of the vinyl set reads. “Kida delivers a bold and brilliant soundtrack befitting of the game’s lore, and follows the composer’s work on the original Demon’s Souls with triumph. Now available on vinyl, Demon’s Souls is pressed on a pair of gold vinyl housed in a gatefold jacket featuring beautiful artwork by Ken Taylor. A credit insert is also included. Fans of the Souls series will not want to miss this deluxe vinyl package.”
