Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Will Be A Battle.net Exclusive On PC
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to be the next big installment in the franchise and yet there hasn’t been much information revealed on the title quite yet. With a full reveal on the way, its only a matter of time before fans get some concrete details on what they can expect to see in the upcoming title. Some of that information seems to have begun to arrive concerning the details of where fans will be able to play the title, particularly on the PC platform.
According to charlieINTEL, Activision appears to be sending out promotional emails pertaining to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. As seen in a recent tweet it looks as though these emails confirm that the game will be exclusive to Battle.net players on PC, meaning fans who want to get in on the action through Steam or other distributors will be out of luck. It’s not so surprising a revelation since Call of Duty titles have been released as exclusives in the past including the current Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but having the confirmation is worth noting to say the least.

A full reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to release on August 26th, with another appearance set for Opening Night Live on the 27th, so perhaps more information concerning platforms and even a possible release date will arrive then.
