Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare And Warzone Weapon Glitch Finally Fixed

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Captain Price

Ever since the arrival of Season 5 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, players have been experiencing some major issues that somehow passed quality assurance. While it maybe took a  bit longer than some had hoped, the developers at Infinity Ward have finally released a fix for the weapon glitch.

For those who don’t know, there has been a significant bug in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone that turns some weapon models into nightmare fuel made of anger and atrocities never heard of. The jagged edges of every polygon known to humans would cover the screen, making it impossible for players to actually play the game. Thankfully, a patch has arrived that takes care of that bug, but another bug popped up, specifically for those on Xbox One. Plus, it didn’t hinder everyone

When it comes to the new Call of Duty patch, the PS4 size is 1.2GB, while the PC version is 0.88GB for just Warzone and 1.83GB if you have Modern Warfare as well. However, “due to an unforseen bug with the Microsoft patch delivery process,” Xbox One players will need to download a 66.3GB update. It will redownload some files, but will not affect the overall size of the install.

As for what exactly the new Call of Duty patch fixes, the full list can be found right here, while a few of the major points are listed below:

  • Fix for weapon models (sights and weapons picked up) corrupting on screen
  • Fix for an error that could occur when selecting “Play Again” option in Warzone
  • Fixed a bug where players could use the rope ascender through a closed door in Downtown
  • Fixed an issue where the world model of the Common AUG was appearing invisible in Warzone

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone are currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
