Blizzard’s Latest Collectable: The Overwatch Reaper Statue *Heavy Breathing Intensifies* [VIDEO]

Blizzard continues its line of premium collectibles with the newly revealed Overwatch Reaper Statue. Only the second collectible in the line, the Reaper figure follows Blizzard’s release of the Overwatch Tracer Statue that instantly sold out. Judging by the pure awesomeness of its pose and the attention to detail put in this most recent piece, we’re pretty sure the first production run will see the same fate as its predecessor. Check out the reveal video below.

The 12 inch figure, which was masterfully sculpted by Blizzard’s senior sculptor Brian Fay, depicts the Overwatch villain in the middle of his trademark move and ultimate ability, Death Blossom. Fay is also the artist behind the aforementioned Tracer statue, as well. The piece is made of polystone with each being hand painted. The first wave of Reaper statues are slated to ship spring of next year around the end of March and the second in the fall around the end of September. The premium collectibles will cost $150 a pop at a limit of two per customer. Act fast, because pre-orders are currently open and as previously mentioned, inventory is expected to go quickly.

To be honest, even if I weren’t a fan of the game I would still have a hard time talking myself out of purchasing this epic piece considering that it’s pretty badass and the quality is in sync with the price. Now all I need is for Blizzard to release figures for Winston, Widowmaker, and Sombra; who am I kidding I want them ALL! Admittedly I cannot wait to get my sweaty hands on this statue!
