Overwatch Pharah Fan Theory Just Might Prove Who She is Related To!

Conspiracy theorists, take note! A Pharah fan theory is circling Reddit that just might prove who the Overwatch fighter is related to! We know what you’re thinking: “But it’s just a fan theory! How could it be even remotely possible?”

Well not so fast! This one actually has some pretty sound logic behind it, and while there is absolutely no word from Blizzard about its validity, it still stands pretty firm as a good possibility for being true.

Make sure you’re sitting, ’cause this one’s a doozy. Are you sitting? Okay, get ready:

Ana and Reinhardt are Pharah’s parents!

Pharah fan theory

Alright, so we already knew that Ana was her mom but bear with us: here’s the logic behind it. According to the game, Ana and Reinhardt have some minor flirtatious lines between them, and they both served together at the same time and age. While this doesn’t necessarily equate to “baby”, here’s where it gets a little weird.

As Decibelle explains in her theory, in Overwatch all the characters have four rare skins based off of a specific theme. In the would-be parents’ cases, Ana’s skins are all jewel based (Citrine, Garnet, Peridot, Turquoise), and Reinhardt’s are metal (Brass, Copper, Cobalt, Veridian).

What are Pharah’s skins?

  • Amethyst (Jewel)
  • Emerald (Jewel)
  • Copper (Metal)
  • Titanium (Metal)

Yup. Two jewel skins, two metal skins. This Pharah fan theory may not be so crazy now, huh? We already know that Ana is Pharah’s mom – but the father. This adds a whole other layer to the dynamicism within Blizzard’s Overwatch and that is just one of the many things that makes this shooter special.

Decibelle finishes off her explanation as such: “Ana and Reinhardt [expletive], had a baby, and she inherited half of their skins, each”. It’s also not hard to see that the theory has really taken off on Reddit, with the post garnering over 2000 comments about it. So who knows? If this really wasn’t Blizzard’s intention, maybe they’ll take note of it and add some backstory later to support it? Only time will tell.

There are other theories, of course: Reaper, Soldier 76, and now the metal giant. The community is still abuzz with backstories of these lovable heroes – it’s great to see such fan involvement!
