New Deadpool 2 Trailer Assembles The Merc’s Super-Duper Team (VIDEO)

Deadpool 2 Trailer

Deadpool is coming out with a sequel to his debut film and it promises to be full of the same irreverent humor and fourth-wall breaks we’ve come to expect from the Merc with a Mouth. The last hilarious trailer gave fans their first proper look at Josh Brolin’s time-traveling cyborg Cable, and all the hard-edge toughness that description would imply. Now Marvel has debuted another Deadpool 2 trailer, providing a new preview of the hero assembling his own “super-duper” team.

While the last trailer largely featured Ryan Reynolds’ titular character playing with dolls (not that we’re complaining), the newly released footage shows off much more of the story and the super-powered lineup of heroes that make up the movie’s iteration of the X-Force. That doesn’t mean Wade Wilson wasn’t up to his hijinks as well. We get a look at the Merc firing off the usual swears,  slicing and dicing some henchmen, and we even see him take Professor X’s wheelchair for a spin. Check it out below.

Though they aren’t at all connected, Marvel currently has a number of interesting projects releasing on the big and small screen relatively soon. The entire universe will be in jeopardy in Avengers: Infinity War, the second season of the X-Men show Legion is confusing everyone in the right ways, and there’s a fantastic-looking Spider-Man game on the way from Insomniac. Deadpool 2 will fire into theaters on May 18th.
