February is finally here and quite a few celebrations crowd the next few weeks such as the love-giving Valentine’s Day and the communal snacking excuse known as the Super Bowl. Of course, on the other hand: video games. The next few weeks will see heaps of fresh titles ascend from the great digital deities in the cloud, with a few of the most notable being the cutesy kaiju battles of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, the stylish combat of Persona 5 Strikers, and the spooktacular atmosphere of Little Nightmares 2.

The month only started a few days ago, but there’s already been a number of big February releases like supernatural action title Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, the explosive ​​Destruction AllStars, in addition to two separate Nioh 2 game collections. A handful of big updates also dropped in the form of the latest waifu offerings of Genshin Impact, Zombie hordes for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and next-gen versions for Remedy Entertainment’s Control as well as God of War for PlayStation 5.

As for what else fans can look towards for the remainder of February, Apex Legends’ big Season 8 debut of Fuse is on the horizon, Hitman 3 is lining up a myriad of assassinations to collect, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons is holding a feathery multi-colored celebration. Rounding out the fun is the long-awaited release of ​​Bravely Default 2 for Nintendo Switch, the re-debut of ​​Old School RuneScape on Steam, and a new Roselia -focused Community Day for Pokémon GO. There’s also a big QoA patch expected for Cyberpunk 2077, for those still frequenting Night City.
