The next generation of console gaming is inching closer by the day and the likes of Microsoft have been taking a decidedly innovative approach in delivering new releases. Not only are Xbox Game Pass and Backward Compatibility lined up for the release of the Xbox Series X, but the console also arrives with some exciting new features such as cross-generation Smart Delivery support as well as enhancements to a select number of games dubbed ‘Xbox Series X Optimized.’

As per Xbox, titles that are Optimized for Series X are configured by developers “to take full advantage” of the console, with games featuring several prominent performance and visual upgrades as a result. These are touted to include such improvements as hardware-accelerated DirectX Raytracing, up to 120 FPS, full 4K resolution, HDR, as well as inclusion in the Smart Delivery program. Over time the number of available Xbox Series X Optimized titles is promised to become even more inclusive – all of which can be found in the list below.
