The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf Character Posters Revealed
Toss a coin to your prequel for Netflix’s The Witcher series, as The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf animated movie is slated to release on August 23rd. The spin-off received a full trailer earlier this month depicting the legendary Vesimir, both as a boy and after he becomes a full-fledged Witcher. Now, Netflix has released a series of character posters ahead of the film’s impending arrival.
Netflix took to its ‘Geeked’ social media account to release a new batch of character posters for The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. Kicking off with Vesemir, the character posters are accompanied by brief blurbs about each of the primary characters of the movie. The first two are Tetra Gilcrest and Luka, followed by Deglan and Lady Zerbst. Last but not least, the final two character posters depict Filavandrel – who appeared in season 1 of Netflix’s The Witcher series – and young Vesemir. Check ’em out below:
here’s a little more info about the new Witcher characters joining the series:
– TETRA GILCREST is a powerful sorceress who works to keep peace on the Continent by ensuring that magic is not abused
– LUKA is an outspoken witcher and compatriot of Vesemir’s pic.twitter.com/2C6Zapeoll— Netflix Geeked (@NetflixGeeked) August 18, 2021
– FILAVANDREL (who also appeared in live action in The Witcher Season 1) is a fallen elf king and an old friend to Vesemir

While The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is a movie and not a full-fledged series, it should whet the appetites of fans awaiting the highly anticipated second season of the live-action series starring Henry Cavill. Thankfully we needn’t wait too much longer, as the official release date for season 2 is December 17, 2021.
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is slated to release on Netflix on August 23rd, 2021.
