Star Wars: The Old Republic has been around for quite a while now and yet, the MMO continues to see updates around the year. There have been multiple expansions, telling tales of the heroes’ and villains’ struggle for power, control, and more across the galaxy far, far, away. Soon, a new story will arrive, bringing players a tale of mystery as they explore the dark reaches of space. A new trailer aims to give fans a small glimpse of what they can expect to see as Darth Malgus works towards an unknown plan in the Legacy of the Sith.

With only being only a minute long, the trailer itself didn’t reveal too much in the way of new information, but it definitely sparks excitement nonetheless. Several new characters are teased to interact throughout the course of the storyline including Darth Norok, Colonel Gallo, and Colonel Korrd. The footage did not feature a mysterious Twi’lek seen at the bottom of the Legacy of the Sith loading screen or the mysterious eyes shown in a previous trailer, a strange occurrence considering the amount of weight such mysterious figures might have in the upcoming expansion.

The last we heard, Legacy of the Sith was confirmed to receive a substantial delay from developers BioWare Austin, extending the wait from its former December launch to February 2022. The decision was made to add more polish and pursue additional testing for the latest addition to Star Wars: The Old Republic. Since the delay occurred, not many new details have come out about the expansion, but the arrival of this new teaser indicates the game is very likely to maintain its current release date.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is currently available for PC players alone, with the new expansion set to arrive on February 15th of this year.
