Spider-Man PS4 has just received a brand new trailer, courtesy of Marvel and Insomniac Games. Released at San Diego Comic-Con, the story trailer helps expand the plot of the game by revealing that Mayor Norman Osborn has hired Silver Sable and her group, Silver Sable International, to take down Spider-Man, whom Osborn considers “an enemy of the people.” Check out the new Spider-Man PS4 trailer below:

“The high stakes in Marvel’s New York escalate, as Mayor Norman Osborn is willing to take no risks during his re-election bid. He hires Silver Sable and her security force, Silver Sable International, to restore order to the city – which includes stopping someone he believes is contributing to the mayhem: Spider-Man.”

The odds certainly seem stacked against Spidey this time around. Several scenes in the trailer depict Peter Parker as injured, which is no small wonder. Not only does he have the Sinister Six out to get him, but he also has to contend with Silver Sable and her group, the latter of which seemingly have no qualms about going after civilians like Mary Jane. Speaking of, it appears that both MJ and Miles Morales are here to assist Spidey in a support capacity, as MJ is seen speaking around and keeping tabs on Silver Sable.

Spider-Man launches exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on September 7, 2018.
