Spider-Man Director Teases “Even More Villains” To Come (VIDEO)

Spider-Man Director Teases "Even More Villains" To Come (VIDEO)

This year’s Sony presentation at E3 treated fans to action, story, and more for the upcoming Spider-Man game coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4. Within the new footage it was revealed that four significant villains from the hero’s past will be teaming up to try to take down our favorite wall crawler. Surprisingly enough, Insomniac Games’ Creative Director Bryan Intihar has teased that there would be “even more villains” to come.

Within the video below, Intihar was asked just who is the mystery villain that was hinted at in the latest gameplay trailer, which will in turn signify the formation of the Sinister Six. He explains that fans will have to wait until the game releases to find out who it is later this year, though he also mentions that the game will “have even more villains than that, so there’s even more to go”.

Considering Intihar’s statement, it is highly likely that Insomniac is going to be bringing the rest of the members of the Sinister Six together. It would be incredible if the game manages to do so, especially since that would mean we can look forward to fighting Doc Ock, Mysterio, and Kraven, as they represent half of the members of the original Sinister Six. Additionally, Spider-Man’s dark rival Venom has been hinted at as a character that may make an appearance in the game.

Spider-Man is set to release September 7th of this year exclusively on the PlayStation 4.

Could the likes of other Symbiote villains or anti-heroes also make an appearance? What other super villains from Spidey’s rogues gallery would you like to see in upcoming title?  Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
