Skyblivion Mod Reaching The Final Stages Of Development (VIDEO)
Mods have been a major boon for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, giving the title much greater longevity than anybody could have ever imagined. One mod, in particular, is aiming to recreate the previous installment in the series, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with the Skyrim engine. While development has taken quite a long time it seems that the end goal is almost in sight for the team behind Skyblivion and hopefully will soon give fans hours of familiar adventures to be had with a fresh, new look.
A recent teaser trailer has been released, showing off some amazing environments from the mod as well as some combat, fauna, and more. Project lead Rebelize also explains that the team has come a long way with the project, having reached the final stages of development on the exterior world and weapons, creatures, and flora are being implemented at a rapid pace as well. There’s still quite a bit of work the team needs to do in order to make a promising release but reaching the finish line grows closer every day.
Skyrim is currently available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch, though the ambitious Skyblivion mod will only be available for PC players.
Sadly the mod has yet to receive a release date, but with any luck perhaps fans will be seeing more information as development continues. Be sure to check out the Skyblivion webpage for more details on its development.
