Rocket League Arrives On The Nintendo Switch In November With Crossplay Capabilities

Earlier this year, Psyonix announced plans for a Nintendo Switch port for their extremely successful game Rocket League. Though it was available on most other platforms (PC, PS4, and Xbox One), there was one player missing out on the fast cars and balls action. Fortunately, with all the hubbub it’s finally making it’s way downtown. Rocket League arrives on the Switch next month and it’s going to feature exclusive battle-cars to celebrate it’s debut, which can be seen below:

Switch owners can purchase Rocket League (via the Nintendo eShop) for 14.99 USD. Available same day will be the Mario and Luigi NSR as well as Samus’ Gunship from Metroid and they look like a blast to maneuver. Additionally, there will be exclusive customization options following the aforementioned themes like the Super Star Rocket Boost and a Wave Beam Rocket Boost. The only condition being that it is used with the corresponding battle-car.

Fear of missing out? No worries, all features and modes available on other Rocket League versions will be available on the Switch as well. In fact, there will also be cross-platform play with PC and Xbox One. How awesome is that? As made apparent in multiple public statements from Sony and company, PlayStation 4 will not be included in cross-play.

Rocket League arrives on the Nintendo Switch beginning Tuesday, November 14th.
