Master Ball Switch Controller Revealed For Pokémon Day (VIDEO)

Master Ball Nintendo Switch Controller

The yearly celebration of Pokémon Day commemorates the start of the Pocket Monster franchise, with this month marking 24 years since the first debut of Pokémon Red and Blue. As the date tends to introduce all sorts of fun goodies, peripheral manufacturer PowerA has now also revealed a new Master Ball Nintendo Switch controller to capture the attention of fans.

Revealed in a recent post to social media, PowerA unveiled a new Switch controller based on the purple-colored Master Ball from the Pokémon series. The premium peripheral is touted as a limited-time offering, available only from Amazon while quantities last. The design is similar to other Switch controllers from PowerA, featuring wireless functionality, “advanced gaming” buttons, and batteries supporting up to a 30-hour lifespan. Check out the Twitter post below alongside an official product description.

  • Wireless freedom using Bluetooth 5.3
  • LEDs for player number, button mapping, and low battery warning
  • Includes two AA batteries for up to 30 hours of gameplay
  • Features advanced gaming Buttons for on the fly button mapping
  • Officially Licensed by Nintendo and the Pokemon company International with two-year limited warranty – visit PowerA.Com/support

Due to the “limited” nature, it’s likely best for interested gamers to catch this controller while it lasts, as it’s unknown when more might show up in the future. In addition to the aforementioned Master Ball Switch controller, PowerA also showed off a few more based on the other members of the ball family. Red Poké Ball, blue Great Ball, and yellow Ultra Ball variants were also revealed to be available on Amazon, following the debut of each late last year.
