Rainbow Six Quarantine Release Window Revealed

Rainbow Six Quarantine Release Window Revealed

Ubisoft dropped quite the bomb on its fans at E3 2019, blowing those in attendance away with Jon Bernthal himself appearing on-stage to talk about the upcoming title he stars in, Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Of course, that wasn’t the only game the publisher revealed, as Ubisoft also provided fans with the very first look at Rainbow Six Quarantine, a game based off the popular Outbreak event from Rainbow Six Siege. Now, it looks like we officially have a release window for the title.

The news comes by way of Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, who spoke about the game during a recent financial call. According to Guillemot, Rainbow Six Quarantine is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of Ubisoft’s current fiscal year, which puts the release date between January 1, 2010 and March 31, 2020. There is, of course, the possibility that the game will be delayed, though we at least have a vague understanding of what the developer’s time table is for releasing the title. Here’s what the game is all about for those that missed it:

“The Rainbow Operators will face off against a totally new breed of mutated alien parasite. Infecting human hosts and their surroundings, this new enemy is more lethal and challenging than ever before. Prepare to launch into tense, chaotic and totally unpredictable missions as you and your squad risk everything, every time you step into Quarantine.”

Rainbow Six Quarantine is expected to release early next year for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
