Resident Evil 2 Mod Makes Mr. X Extra Small (VIDEO)

2019 has seen a plethora of classic video games remade for modern devices, and Resident Evil 2 was by far one of the most well-received this year. Like many popular games this year, Resident Evil 2 found the attraction of many modders, especially those of the meme-loving variety. The game’s iconic villain Mr. X was the subject of such modders, who turned him into everything from Pennywise the Clown to Shrek to Thomas the Tank Engine. Mr. X is well known for his towering figure, which makes the newest Resident Evil 2 mod that makes him teeny tiny so hilarious.

A modder known as Raz0r on NexusMods has released their new Resident Evil 2 mod recently. A gameplay footage of the mod in action was released by Albert_Fn_Wesker on their YouTube channel. The video shows the player as Claire encountering the comically small Mr. X as he stomps his little feet around. For the most part, Mr. X’s behavior and patterns have not changed, and he still moves just as fast as he did before despite his new little waddling legs.

Aside from the humorous aspect, the mod does affect the difficulty of the game. While Mr. X is much smaller, and slightly easier to avoid attacks, he is harder to spot and his hit box has now been made proportionally smaller. While this isn’t the most dynamic Resident Evil 2 mod ever, it is quite hilarious to see Mr. X in such an Xtra small form.
