Rainbow Six Siege Reveals ‘Operation Burnt Horizon,’ New Operator Details
Rainbow Six Siege is at it again with two new Operators for players to enjoy. Arriving as part of the new Year Four Season One content ‘Operation Burnt Horizon,’ the new operators – who were initially leaked earlier this year – are set to be debuted during the Six Invitational in Montréal that was to take place on February 17th, though some newly-surfaced assets from the official Rainbow Six website have given them away.
The news comes by Reddit, which recently posted the assets alongside both of their names. “Gridlock and Mozzie met at a teenage robot competition,” the Reddit post reads. “A few years later, Mozzie persuaded Grid to join the Defense Force. They work together since they were summoned to handle one of the most serious fires of the century.”
Here’s the official description of what’s to come courtesy of Ubisoft:
“Year Four Season One is all set to go, featuring two new operators from the SASR. One’s a stoic Attacker who’s just there to get the job done, and the other is a quick-witted Defender who’s in it for the guts and glory. Two old mates from way back, they’ve signed up with Rainbow to bring a little Aussie know-how to the other side of the world. This includes a new device that’ll keep roaming Defenders on their toes, and one that’ll leave Attackers at a bit of a loss.
That doesn’t mean they’ve left the sunburnt country completely behind them, though – there’s a slice of the red desert coming with them. A high-stakes chase has ended in a standoff at a service station halfway between here and nowhere, resulting in a map that’s packed with twists, turns, and Australiana. Try not to get distracted in the gift shop or dream of sampling the national specialties available at the fast food counter. Your teammates will thank you.”
Rainbow Six Siege is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The official reveal for Gridlock and Mozzie is set to happen on February 17 during the Six Invitational in Montréal.
