Rainbow Six Siege Leak Reveals New Australian Operators

Rainbow Six Siege Leak Reveals New Australian Operators

Another year is finally upon us, and with it comes the promised ‘Year 4’ DLC for Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft has been rather quiet on what fans can look forward to in terms of content for 2019, with the latest news from the publisher being that of a free giveaway that ends today. Thankfully, as with many titles, the leaks just keep on coming, and we now have what appears to be a first look at two new Australian Operators coming to the game.

The news comes by way of ResetEra, with one of the users posting a picture that depicts two never before seen Operators. The Operators are referred to as Gridlock and Mozzie, with a larger look at the two appearing in a picture posted on Reddit. The image can be seen below:

According to the user on ResetEra, “Grindlock is an attacker and he puts down a red web tracker that when defenders run into it they get damaged and it makes noise.” On the other hand, “Mozzie is defender and she puts down a device that when the enemy drones go into it, she can take control of it and use them.” As usual, other users on the forum questioned the validity of everything that was shown, especially since the picture originally was posted on 4chan a few days prior. At this point the user mentioned that it was from an “Industry Friend,” which the obtained another picture of displaying Gridlock’s gadget.

It is still unknown whether or not the leak is a valid one, though the information above certainly paints it as feasible for a coming update. At least in the meantime, better chat filters are finally in place. Rainbow Six Siege is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
