Peter Dinklage Being Sought For Avengers Infinity War Role

Avengers Infinity War Role

Peter Dinklage is quite the mainstay in big nerd projects. His performance as Tyrion Lannister is the favorite piece of the show for many Game of Thrones fans, and he is also no stranger to Marvel films, given his performance as Bolivar Trask in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Now, it seems he may be venturing into the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe, as reports believe that he is being sought after for an Avengers Infinity War role.

According to sources close to Variety, Dinklage is in early talks to join the cast of the next two Avengers films, which will supposedly be shot back to back in their production. The upcoming season of Game of Thrones has already finished shooting, which would free Dinklage’s schedule for the next several months and allow his to take this role. Very little is known about Avengers: Infinity War and the planned subsequent Avengers film, other than the majority of the main Avengers cast from previous films would return and the focus would be on their conflict with Thanos, who has been seen in previous Marvel films and will be portrayed by Josh Brolin.

It is also currently unknown what Marvel character that Dinklage would be portraying. Some have theorized that Dinklage could be playing M.O.D.O.K., due to the character’s robotic form not requiring an actor of any specific physical status and would not necessitate a set schedule due to post-production work to bring such a character to life. What do you guys think? Are you excited to see Peter Dinklage being courted for an Avengers Infinity War role? Who would you like to see Dinklage play in the films? Let us know in the comments below!
