Earlier this year, Sony Pictures partnered with Marvel Studios to bring Spider-Man into the MCU with Captain America: Civil War. The extended appearance of the red webhead was met with a warm reception from fans and critics alike for the film’s accurate and upbeat portrayal of the character.
Civil War perfectly set up a solo outing for Spider-Man and by the looks of this trailer, it may be the definitive take on the character fans have wanted on screen for years. You can catch Homecoming when it hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
