Overwatch’s Orisa Activating Today to Protect Everyone (VIDEO)

Overwatch's Orisa

The wait is over… In what may be the second most anticipated thing to be happening on March 21, Overwatch’s Orisa is finally being activated! It has been a roller-coaster of emotions that has led us to this point. Was the 24th hero going to be Doomfist? Is Terry Crews going to be the voice of Doomfist? Did Jeff Kaplan just all but confirm that it’s not going to be Doomfist? This is what the past couple of months have been like in the Overwatch community.

As you can see, it’s been a ton of fun. That was until 11-year-old Efi came along. If you aren’t in the know, the Numbani native is a child prodigy in the fields of robotics and A.I. technologies. Some thought she could be the next hero, but most believed the idea of a child running around on the maps was a bit ridiculous. However, her expertise was not taken lightly. After Doomfist attacked the airport in Numbani to retrieve his gauntlet, Efi took one of the OR-15s, repaired it, gave it a heart, and thus Overwatch’s Orisa came to be. Her time in the PTR(Public Test Region) has come to a close and she is being activated in the live game today. You can check out her customization options in the video below:

Overwatch’s Orisa is a tank-class hero and the 24th character to join the insanely popular FPS from Blizzard. If you are partial to the likes of Reinhardt, Bastion, or other heroes that can bring the hurt, you are sure to love Orisa. In fact, one of DFTG’s very own might have said it best:

If Bastion, D.Va, and Reinhardt all had one too many drinks and had a super fun time in a bar bathroom, Orisa would be their love child.”

What say you, heroes? Did any of you get a chance to play as Orisa in PTR? Are you excited that she is finally being activated? Will she now be your main, or do you prefer someone else?
