Overwatch Maps Seen From The “Outside” For A Whole New Perspective (VIDEO)

Overwatch

Blizzard Entertainment has done an incredible job with their first FPS over the past two years. With the anniversary festivities still in full swing, players are scrambling to grab all of the goodies they missed out on in past events. That being said, Overwatch isn’t winning any awards for its hyper realistic visuals anytime soon, but players love the charm that comes with its cartoon-like aesthetic. However, we only see what is inside the designated map areas, with some nice visuals off in the distance.

Thanks to a recent video, we now know what Blizzard has been up to outside of the map boundaries at any given destination. YouTuber Noobinabox released the beautiful video showing them flying all around the landscapes the developers have created. There are some areas that aren’t completely detailed, which is understandable considering they aren’t meant to be seen by players. Luckily Noobinabox and company were able to weasel their way outside of the maps to give everyone a new perspective on everything. Check it out for yourself below:

While the video is nearly six minutes in length, only the first two are filled with the beautiful fly-through shots of the landscape outside the maps. The other four minutes show how the team was able to pull everything off. The use of Pharah’s ability to fly around and Mei’s Ice Wall were in play, providing the team plenty of opportunity to find the glitches needed to get past Blizzard’s defense.

This is certainly a beautiful and new perspective of a game many have come to love over the past two years. Those looking for a more up-close approach to the game, Overwatch is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
