Grand Theft Auto V is set to make an appearance on next-gen consoles, bringing fans a fresh look at the already 7-year-old title. Of course, this also means that GTA Online will be coming along for the ride alongside the plethora of content that the current-gen version offers – including game modes, weapons, vehicles, cosmetics, and more. Even better, it now appears that the next-gen version of the game will bring players some exclusive content to enjoy.

As part of a recent conference call held by Rockstar’s parent company (via IGN), Take-Two Interactive president Karl Slatoff explained that the next-gen GTA Online would receive “more responsive” technical improvements alongside a number of visual and audio enhancements that were previously teased when the two were first announced. On top of seeing these vast upgrades, Take-Two also mentioned in the earnings call that there would be “additional content exclusive to the new consoles and PC” planned for sometime in 2021.

Unfortunately, Take-Two didn’t mention any more details as to what players can expect to see in terms of this exclusive content, nor when players could expect to see the content arrive. However, the next-gen versions of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online are expected to arrive in the second half of next year for PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5.
