Insane New Warframe Intro Comes Courtesy of Uncharted Director Dan Trachtenberg (VIDEO)

Warframe

Warframe has been an incredibly well done free-to-play title and has been around for quite some time. While the game has done a good job of providing players a steady stream of content to enjoy, the title itself is a little difficult to get into as some new players might find themselves having a hard time figuring out what to do. Thankfully, that may all evolve soon as developers are looking to restructure the narrative, giving potential fans an easier time learning how to play while still getting the feeling of being a ninja right from the start.

A cinematic intro for this restructured new player experience was shown at this year’s TennoCon and was written by 10 Cloverfield Lane and Uncharted director Dan Trachtenberg. The current intro sequence doesn’t really do much aside from setting up the game’s first villain and thrusting players into the action with little to no direction as to what each introductory Frame can do. The new cinematic masterpiece gives players a bit more depth, delving into the Warframe universe and showing off some of the crazy abilities each Frame has.

The new Warframe intro does a good job of bringing a fresh take on the current state of the game, and in some cases like the sequence showing off Mag’s abilities, may even hint at future changes coming to the game. There’s no word on when the revamped new player experience is set to drop into the game though it is expected to arrive later this year.

Warframe is available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The game has come a long way over the year’s where are you hoping the developers take it next?
