WATCH: Six New Street Fighter V Characters Unveiled For Upcoming Season Of Content

New Street Fighter V Characters

So much Street Fighter goodness has been popping up over the past couple months, and with this year’s Capcom Cup now having drawn to a close, one would be crazy not to think that some surprises weren’t revealed. For instance, the 30th Anniversary collection coming to PC and consoles was unveiled, which you can read about right here. Another treat for those in attendance and watching at home was the unveiling of six new Street Fighter V characters.

Four of these combatants will be making their return from previous installments: Sakura and Cody, who originally debuted in the Alpha series – and Sagat and Blanka, fan-favorites that have been kicking around since the Street Fighter 2 days. New to the scene, however, are Falke, someone who might possibly be attached to Ed in some way, and G, the tophat-wearing presidential-looking guy seen in the image above. To get a good look at the newly announced Street Fighter V characters, check out the cinematic trailer below:

While this group of combatants will make up the third season of content being released for the game, Sakura will be the first to arrive on January 16, 2018. This also happens to be when Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition drops for PC and PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, no dates have been specified for the rest of the fighters, but keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as to not miss when they can be expected.
