PlayStation Remastered – Parappa the Rapper, LocoRoco and Patapon Revealed at PSX

The PlayStation Experience is rife with updates today, as we now learn that there are upcoming releases for PlayStation Remastered versions of Parappa the Rapper, Patapon and LocoRoco. This is a pretty awesome update, considering the fact that Sony had taken the initiative to bypass simple backwards compatibility, and went straight to reworking the titles to look better than ever. Apparently, Sony is just as excited about this update as we are, as they immediately took to Twitter to make the announcement for those who could not make it to PSX for themselves.

All three titles will have improved graphics for the best gaming quality as possible, with 4K support for the PS4 Pro. You can check out the the PlayStation blog for any details you might have missed on this reveal at PSX today. Just in time for Parappa the Rapper’s 20th Anniversary on December 6th, you can also go to the PlayStation store to download the demo of Parappa the Rapper in its new, glorious quality to try it out and see if the full version is something you want to add to your PS4 collection.
