Destiny 2 Crucible Trailer

A majority of the original Destiny’s Crucible gametypes required players to be on teams of 6 to play. As with many other parts of Destiny however, that’s all changing with the upcoming sequel. A new Destiny 2 Crucible trailer shows off gameplay in the game’s revamped 4v4 competitive multiplayer, check it out in the video below:

The trailer shows off the classes used in the game and where they will work best within the multiplayer. Hunters are fast and unpredictable, able to push forward and deal a massive amount of damage very quickly while being able to dodge away from precarious situations. The Titans are your big heavy hitters able to fight at a slower pace and provide cover when necessary. Warlocks are the tacticians, taking enemies by surprise with their quick recovery rate.

The new abilities will make all players a force to be reckoned with, Destiny 2 will be amping up all classes to be more dexterous in battle. The powers each class utilizes will make them more dangerous in different situations, providing more than just one way to take on the enemy. The hope is that players will gravitate to a more team based play than the solo run and gun of the first Destiny. Running alone may be effective for some players, but the greatest power will come from working together to face the unknown.

As Lord Shaxx says, “Enter the Crucible to fight, to conquer, to crush. Don’t be captured and show your enemy what a real fight looks like.” Fans can pre-order the game now and will receive a Exotic rifle called the “Coldheart” as a reward. Destiny 2 goes live September 6th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with the PC releasing coming later October 24th. Will you be picking up a copy?
