Batman Game Reveal Possibly Teased By WB Games Montreal (VIDEO)

Batman

Though Batman: Arkham Knight released back in 2015 as the finale of the Arkham series, it’s difficult to imagine the Batman franchise would end anytime soon. New projects are have been suggested to be in the works for a while now, bringing fans the Dark Knight in all his cowled glory in an all-new video game. Since 2018, WB Games have been seemingly teasing a new Batman title in development, but there’s been very little official information regarding the project. Thankfully, it seems that fans won’t have much longer to wait as a new tease seems to set up some sort of reveal that will be on the way very soon.

A recent tweet from WB Games Montreal sees a mysterious caption featuring “_ _ . _ _ . _ _ . _ _ _  @r3dakt3d“, followed by a single repeating clip. Upon heading to the tagged Twitter account, fans can find the same image teased by WB Games Montreal as well as a link to a website featuring a moving background, the text, “We have been expecting you 8/18,” as well as a countdown timer. The timer seems to indicate that something is on the way for 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m ET, though exactly what it may be currently remains to be seen.

Notably, the tweets from WB Games Montreal and r3dakt3d feature what appears to be 3 different emblems – one seemingly shaped like an owl. This possibly indicates something related to the infamous Court of Owls in Batman lore might be on the docket for a reveal. As WB Games Montreal have made similar “redacted” teases on several occasions, it looks like the studios’ project may finally be declassified in under a day’s time.

With DC FanDome just around the corner, fans are already expecting a big video game presence at the big event. Though a Suicide Squad game is supposed to make a debut, it looks like fans are going to be getting a taste of what’s to come a little early in the form of this long-rumored title. What could the mysterious message be about? Let us know your thoughts on the potentially teased Batman game and more in the comments section below.
