Mortal Kombat 11 Leak Hints At Possible Returning Character (VIDEO)
Mortal Kombat 11’s first collection of DLC fighters is soon to come to a close, with the March release of Spawn marking its end. After that, fans can look forward to the second Kombat Pack to arrive including even more DLC fighters to enjoy. While there haven’t been any official confirmations of characters set to appear in the pack, it seems that a character with a long-standing history within the franchise might be set to make a return.
Within the latest update of Mortal Kombat 11, there were quite a few new files added and thanks to some datamining, it seems that some of them contain various audio cues for different DLC characters such as Sindel, Spawn, and the Joker. Interestingly enough, there’s another series of audio cues that announce the victory of Fujin, the God of Wind. Fujin has made quite a few appearances over the years, first as an unnamed boss for Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. Since then he’s been seen as a playable character, NPC, and occasionally seen in a few cameo roles, though the recent datamining seems to indicate that he’ll be a playable character this time around.
Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Are there any other characters you’d like to see make it into the game? Perhaps the previously hinted at Ash Williams from the Evil Dead or the multi-limbed Sheeva? Excited to play as Fujin? Let us know your thoughts on the possible returning character and more in the comments section below.
