New Monster Hunter World Trailer Unveils Stunning Desert Landscapes (VIDEO)

Capcom released a new Monster Hunter World trailer that has unveiled a stunning desert enviroment for their upcoming addition to the series. This part of the world is called Wildspire Waste and will offer players some interesting challenges and new monsters. Check out this new area in the video below:

The latest Monster Hunter World trailer showcases a world in stark contrast to their previous release, an ancient forest area lush with greenery. Caves and swamps crop up amid the canyon like desert that is the Wildspire Waste, offering a harsh world teeming with its own life. Among the interesting life forms residing in the desert is the Kulu-Ya-Ku, an egg-thieving bird like creature along with the Barroth, a monster some may be familiar with.

The Monster Hunter World trailer also gives players a look at some of the new weapons and items coming to the game. A “slinger” gives players the ability to swing across wide gaps and take distracting shots at monsters to set up other attacks. Campcom is also bringing back all 14 classes of weapons that fans have enjoyed from other franchise titles.

Monster Hunter World will be available on the PS4 and Xbox One in 2018. Fans itching to play on PC won’t have to wait much longer as the computer version is expected to follow in consoles wake. This latest title marks a deviation from the usual handheld releases fans are used to.
