YouTuber Cash Sonny has taken to the video waves with a new 8-bit style animation that is as hysterical as it is amazing. The talented animator reveals a Game of Thrones Pokemon parody that retells the popular HBO series within the world of Pokemon. Westeros in the Pokemon universe is perfect in what the creator is calling “Pokemon Ice and Fire”.

The Games of Thrones Pokemon parody beings with Jon Snow summarizing events and laying out the bask premise. Powerful White Walkers have gathered a horde of Ice-Type Pokemon to bring down the wall and invade Westeros. In response, Snow orders every able-bodied northerner to collect Valyrian Steel-Type Pokemon to fend off the raid. Check out the video in its entirety below:

As seen in the Game of Thrones Pokemon parody above, Snow then heads to the Dragon Queen, Daenerys Targaryen, to enlist the help of her three powerful Charizard. When we meet with Daenerys she is on a ship with Tyrion, constantly being interrupted by Pokemon encounters. This frustrates her and she summons a Charizard to fly her the rest of the way to Westeros.

While this is the first episode of Pokemon Ice and Fire, Cash Sonny promises the series will continue if the video gets enough likes. It will be interesting to see what types of Pokemon get paired with each house and how they’ll use them. Seeing the Game of Thrones Pokemon parody brings a great deal of humor to both beloved series. Fans will certainly be looking forward to what creative ideas will come next in Pokemon Ice and Fire.
