Monster Hunter World Shows Off City Hub And More With Tons Of Images And Videos (VIDEO)

For fans wanting to get a better look at the upcoming title Monster Hunter World, hunt no further because Capcom has released a bunch of new screenshots and videos to get your motor running. The new Monster Hunter World screenshots and videos show off the city of Astrea’s gathering spot where players will be able to socialize, gain new quests, participate in matchmaking, and kick some monster ass in the fighting arena.

While the matchmaking process uses information like desired quest, hunter rank, language, and player attitude to determine matches, there is also a private setting. This would be better for playing with friends and gives the ability to form “circles” all the way up to 50 people. These circles of friends will have their own meeting area and even social features like messaging to chat it up.

The new Monster Hunter World screenshots give a lot of information about the game that fans were curious about, but in a few of the videos players get to check out previously announced monsters, as well as the Ancient Forest area. If that’s not enough, YouTuber Arekkz posted even more that were recorded at Capcom’s headquarters. These give a tour of Astrea, the botanical research center, and even a peek at the Palico armor sets.

You can check out the rest of the Monster Hunter World screenshots and videos below. The title is set for release worldwide on January 26th, 2018 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, plus a PC version that will come later down the road. Are you excited for Monster Hunter World?
