Mass Effect Andromeda Inside Look at Weapons/Combat Gameplay – Watch Here (VIDEO)
The team over at BioWare knows how to get our Pathfinder blood pumping and they did just that today with a brand new video showcasing weapons, combat, movement, and more in a brand new gameplay trailer. With the release of the latest action-adventure RPG on the horizon come March, fans world-wide are eager to see any and all information the team behind the series are willing to share. With their newest Andromeda inside look at the combat system – it was just what we’ve been looking for!
In their first video in their Gameplay Series, BioWare gives Mass Effect fans an in-depth look at what combat will be like in Andromeda. Not only that, but they have finally given us what we’ve wanted for so long – the ability to jump! The video showcases many of the finer points in Andromeda including enviromentals, which are incredibly detailed and vary in landscape. Here are a few things that the gameplay trailer shows us:
- Weaponry
- Load-out functionality
- Jump-jet capabilities
- Combat mechanics
- Different abilities
- In-depth look at different types of enemies
The video shows how to upgrade and customize play-style, giving the player complete control of how their Ryder sibling takes on the enemy threat that hinders humanity’s chances at survival. The overall gameplay highlighted looks extremely smooth, an issue that was brought up during the original trilogy. Stealth, full-frontal assault, biotics – you can truly make your fighting style yours with the intricate leveling and command system.
