Mass Effect: Andromeda – A Closer Look at Turian Vetra and Krogan Drack
We are just weeks away from Mass Effect: Andromeda shooting into the deep recesses of gamers’ hearts. Fans of the immensely popular space action RPG series are attempting to wait patiently as details fill the time between now and the game’s March 21 release date. Over the past months, we have been learning more and more about who will be accompanying you on your journey for a new home. Recently, we have been given more information about two previously announced characters: A Turian by the name of Vetra Nyx, and an elder Krogan named Drack.
Born on the Turian home world of Palaven, Vetra Nyx is one bad chick. Continuing to survive through the tough world of “smugglers and mercenaries”, she is someone you definitely want to keep on your good side. “Her experiences have taught her the importance of having someone to watch your back, and she’ll do anything for the people she considers friends and family.” It’s good to know that her and her modified cyclone assault rifle are on your side. She also “Wears heavily upgraded custom armor that provides additional shielding.” This, of course, is always a good thing.
Also joining you in your space travels is a very, very, very old Krogan from Tuchanka. In fact, “There’s old, and then there’s Drack.” The elder Krogan and his Ruzad shotgun have been tearing it up across the Milky Way for over 1,400 years. Much like Vetra, Drack is loyal to the core, but he is stubborn as all hell. However, when he saw the opportunity to go to Andromeda with his clan(Nakmor), he seized it. “Doing so would present him with a whole new galaxy of stuff to shoot.” Either way, it is definitely a plus if one is able to remain on good terms with him. What else is new? Of course, you better be prepared for one tough-as-sh*t loyalty mission.
