Live-Action Rick And Morty Clip Features The Legendary Christopher Lloyd (VIDEO)

Rick and Morty

Rick and Morty has been well received since its initial launch all the way back in 2013, continuing to be a hilarious commentary on the perspective of existentialism at its finest. The show is a cartoon, first and foremost, and should the show ever have a live-action component it might be hard for fans to nail down exactly who should play the characters. Still, it seems there’s a perfect answer to such a question at least in the case of Rick Sanchez, who would be played quite marvelously by the iconic actor Christopher Lloyd.

A recent teaser was released to social media ahead of the hour-long finale for Rick and Morty’s fifth season showing off Christopher Lloyd as the drunken scientist Rick Sanchez and Jaeden Martell as Morty. Lloyd has played a seemingly crazy scientist before as Doctor Emmett Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy. Interestingly enough, good ol’ Doc Brown served as one of the inspirations for Rick Sanchez, with Marty McFly acting as an inspiration for Morty as well. The caption for the Tweet states C-132, denoting the plane of reality that both Rick and Morty exist in, though where they weren’t originally from.

The season finale of Rick and Morty airs on September 5th at 11PM EST. Will you be watching to see if fans get more of a live-action Rick and Morty experience? Let us know your thoughts on the possibility of seeing the legendary Christopher Lloyd portray Rick Sanchez in an episode of Rick and Morty in the comments section below.
