Lesion is a defender operator who releases a sticky trap with needles protruding upwards. If his name is anything to go by, it will be a trap which poisons those who stand on them. The defender will have the option of a T-5 SMG or a SIX12 Ying and will also carry a Q-929 as a secondary weapon. Lesion will also have T-5 SMG and SIX12 shotgun which is also seen a a weapon equippable by Ying. Also shared between the two SDU operators is the Q-929 handgun as a secondary weapon.
A full reveal of both characters will be revealed during the Pro League Finals stream during Gamescom on August 26th. Fans will also get to see more on the new upcoming map for the new Operation as well. As with all characters, they will be available to all players however they will need to be purchased individually in-game for players who do not have the season pass.
Operation Blood Orchid was delayed in order to make way for Operation Health, which improved the game’s matchmaking and various other technical issues. With that wrapped up and the game ready to go, it’s time to return to new operators and maps. The only character left to be introduced this season is the GROM operator, perhaps there will be more information during the Pro Finals.
