Leaked Overwatch Insurrection Trailer Shows Off New Event Plus New Skins! (VIDEO)
Blizzard’s Overwatch is a popular shooter that took the gaming world by storm. No one, not even the developers, anticipated how much this title would take off in terms of success. With a constant influx of events, new maps/characters, and other ways to keep gameplay fresh – it’s no wonder that these heroes will never die. That is definitely the case with a new event that Blizzard teased last week called King’s Row: Uprising. With a corresponding interactive comic, fans of the popular FPS are itching to know more about the event. Thanks to a leaked Overwatch trailer from a thread on NeoGAF, we now know a little more:
From the video above, the event will be taking place between April 11th and May 1st – plenty of time to rack up those sweet skins. Blackwatch Genji?! Yes, please! The leaked Overwatch trailer shows off an epic battle between the omnics and a team of some of our beloved heroes. The timeline of this event will be placed about seven years before the time of the game itself. Paired with the backstory provided in the latest comic, it’s going to be an intense story for Torbjorn and the team.
What do you guys think of the new event that Blizzard has in store? What do you think about the new skins? Personally a huge fan of the Genji one, that looks slick. Seeing some more Torbjorn love is nice too! Join in on the conversation in the comment section below – and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter for gaming and entertainment news live 24/7!
