Oh Snap! Josh Brolin Helps Thanos Subreddit Ban Half Of Its Users (VIDEO)
Either by going to the theater or witnessing one of many glorious memes, Marvel fans are likely aware of the destructive might of Thanos during the events of Avengers: Infinity War. The villain wreaked havoc on the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as the kingdom of Wakanda, leaving little in his path to obtaining the all-powerful Infinity Stones. It seems Thanos actor Josh Brolin is continuing his goal for universal balance on Reddit by eliminating half the population of a Mad Titan subreddit.
While many would see this act of mass-banning as cruel, the members of the “Thanos Did Nothing Wrong” subreddit would kindly disagree. In fact, it was the moderators of this very group that came up with the idea, supporting Thanos’ plan so greatly, they felt the need to try out the mass exodus on themselves. With official approval from Reddit admins, the half-slashing event was set to take place on July 9th, but not before Infinity War‘s filmmakers also voiced their support for the cause.

A huge endorsement from the Russo Brothers is undeniably awesome, but surprise was able to strike again with another member of the Avengers film’s production: Josh Brolin. The Thanos actor’s approval of the mass-banning would be enough to make any member of the Black Order blush, but Brolin went a step further by providing a video recreating his character’s infamous snap, followed by gleeful smile. Check it out below.
Reddit, Thanos has a message for you…

The rules of the subreddit’s culling dictate a completely random ban to take place at an undisclosed time on July 9th. For those wanting to participate, a subscription to the r/ThanosDidNothingWrong subreddit and a single comment is all that’s required. Following the event, the plan is for only half of the amassed 500,000+ users to remain, but we suppose nobody from the group will be too upset by that conclusion. We’re in the endgame now…
