Gears 4's Largest Update

The Coalition, developer of Gears of War 4, have been adding in new content at a consistent pace since launch from new maps and gear, to tweaks to the game itself. The next update coming however is going to be Gears 4’s largest update yet including new skills, map remakes, and new difficulties.

Dubbed the Rise of the Horde update, The Coalition will introduce two new difficulties to the game called Inconceivable and Ironman to the campaign, as well as the Horde mode multiplayer bringing with them 20 new achievements to unlock. The Inconceivable difficulty hits players with less health. In the multiplayer, enemies will be stronger but in the campaign they will have less health. This difficulty is a test of endurance and requires precision over anything, ammo will be sparse so being effective in killing your enemies is crucial. The Ironman difficulty forces players to stay alive, or lose all progress and start over from the beginning – both in the campaign and Horde mode. Also included in the update are 2 map remakes which means: Avalanche from Gears of War 2 and Rust Lung from Gears of War 3.
