January may have provided a worthy selection to kick off the new year, but the new month of February 2018 is looking to put love in the eyes of gamers with several anticipated releases. Some of the biggest titles competing to become players’ Valentine throughout the month include the remade masterpiece Shadow of the Colossus, the open world hack-n’-slasher Dynasty Warriors 9, and the gorgeous forest platformer Fe.

Of course, the lovelies above aren’t the only games in February 2018 aiming to steal the hearts of fans, with UFC 3 sporting a headlock of love, Secret of Mana modernizing a classic, and the Bayonetta series conjuring itself onto the Nintendo Switch. The low-key theme for the month seems to be “ports” as Final Fantasy XV makes its way to mobile, tactical tank MMO Armored Warfare heads to PlayStation 4, and PayDay 2 widens its new-gen availability arriving on Nintendo Switch.

For those in committed game relationships, February 2018 also presents a few new notable pieces of downloadable content to mix up the proceedings. Civilization VI is marching forward with its Rise and Fall expansion, The Sims 4 sets the mood with the Romantic Garden Stuff pack, and Middle-earth: Shadow of War continues the fantasy epicness with Blade of Galadriel story DLC.
