Fortnite Season 5 Challenge Sets Revealed, More About Road Trip, Drift, And Ragnarok
The world’s most popular Battle Royale title keeps on chugging along with a fresh batch of new upcoming content for players to indulge in. Fortnite’s highly anticipated Season 5 is here and it’s bringing hot new Road Trip challenges, replacing the Blockbuster challenges from Season 4, with level 1-100 tiered outfits and plenty more bonuses to unlock.
On top of the Road Trip challenges, this season will see the introduction of the Drift challenges for Battle Pass owners. Drift is the skin you’ll unlock initially with more pieces coming as you acquire XP:
Additionally, players will be able to work towards completing the Ragnarok challenges as well this season, with the prize being a “Permafrost” pickaxe and a badass Norse-themed skin as well. Kinda looks like something that Kratos would fight in this year’s God of War so, in other words, it seems I’ll be playing more Fortnite in the next couple weeks.
While the goodies for Battle Pass owners look really cool, free players will also have a lot to look forward to as well in the Free Challenges of this season:
- Deal damage with SMGs to opponents (500)
- Search a Supply Llama (1)
- Clinger, Stink Bomb or Grenade Eliminations (3) (HARD)
Battle Pass Challenges
- Search Chests in Snobby Shores (7)
- Search floating Lightning Bolts (7)
- Follow the treasure map found in Risky Reels (1) (HARD)
- Eliminate opponents in Retail Row (3) (HARD)
The update is live now on PlayStation 4, Switch, PC, Xbox One, and iOS platforms. If you want the full rundown of all changes being made to the game this update check out patch notes here. Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and keep it tuned to Don’t Feed The Gamers for all Fortnite-related news:
