Eiyuden Chronicle Update Reveals New Minigames, Unite Hero Attacks (VIDEO)

Eiyuden Chronicle

The upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is aiming to offer a new take on the classic JRPG genre, featuring a turn-based combat system and a deep story filled with rich and intriguing characters. With such a vast world to explore it only makes sense that there will be a variety of activities to partake in aside from fighting and talking. Thankfully, the developers have reached the point where they’re comfortable talking about what fans can expect when the game launches in a couple years.

A recent update on the game’s Kickstarter page reveals a slew of new information on various minigames that will be available for the players to use and take part in such as a fishing system that will allow players to travel all across Allraan to find fishing spots that contain a wide variety of specimens ripe for the catching. Players will need to learn how to find and use the proper baits and other equipment if they want to catch them all before selling their prizes. You’ll also be able to play Beigoma, a Beyblade-esque spinning top game complete with customizable tops and more. There will also be “Eggleg” races that see players finding or buying creatures of the same name and raising them to win prizes in contests.

Trading will be its own separate minigame as well, forcing players to keep a sharp eye on the market as it fluctuates over time before selling their goods for the best price possible. Aside from the reveal of new characters, a new video was also released showing off some of the Unite Hero Attacks utilizing various heroes for devastating damage.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is set to arrive in the Fall of 2022 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5.
